Autism Awareness Week

April is Autism Acceptance Month. To celebrate diversity and inclusiveness, Clinton Elementary is having Spirit Week next week (April 4-8) highlighting Autism. We welcome Tuscan Tigers to join in too. Here are some ideas for those who’d like to join in on this AU-some initiative!

Spring Break is coming

Remember, Spring Break for SOMSD is Monday, April 11 through Friday, April 15. Remarkably, that’s NEXT WEEK.

ICYMI, the Tuscan Fair is BACK baby!

That’s right, you heard it here first…clear your calendars for April 30 because the Tuscan Fair is back! This fantastic fun-filled family event has always been a highlight of the school year and we’re so thrilled to be bringing the action back to our school community this spring. Rides! Games! Face Painting! Prizes! Food! And So. Much. Fun! More details coming very soon.

Get walking

Lace up your walking shoes; mark your calendars; pray to the weather gods- the Tuscan Walk-A-Thon is officially happening this year. The fundraiser is currently marked to take place on June 2 (with a June 9 rain date), so block it out now! More info to come.

The April SEPAC SOMA s meeting is all about Special Education during the Preschool & Elementary years. Come get answers to your questions and talk transitions with our panel of SOMSD guests.
