SUBJECT: Tuscan PTA Newsletter 4/18

Welcome BACK!

Hopefully, you’ve had a good week, you’re all relaxed, and you’ve had a serious dose of Vitamin D. For those who didn’t go away… we made it through the week! Now we’re on the home stretch. This one is a biggie friends, so read on.

“Popcorn! Get yer popcorn, here!”

Have you always wanted to work a concession stand? Maybe you have experience selling merch at a show. Well, the Tuscan Show needs you! We need a handful of volunteers to take charge of Tuscan Show concessions and with selling the recording of the show. Note: We are not sure yet if we can sell food/candy, but we should at least be able to sell water. Want to volunteer?! Email the team at TuscanShow@gmail.com

Roll up! Roll up!

The Tuscan Fair is right around the corner (April 30 10:30am to 2:30pm) and we cannot wait for a day of fun and festivities! But we need YOUR help to make it happen. We have many low-commitment (and did we mention, super fun?!) opportunities for you to be involved with this great Tuscan tradition. And hurrah, no prior experience required! We’ll be there to show you the ropes, it’s all very simple. Can’t be there on the day? Could you lend 30 minutes of your time before school to sell tickets? Or help move some things on Friday evening? There’s something for everyone! Find a friend to sign up with, bring a grandparent or aunt, everyone is welcome :) Are you game? Sign up here!

A local family needs your help

Please take a moment to read about Tony Brooks and his critical need for a living kidney donor. Tony and his wife Intisar raised their children in Maplewood. Iman, Ameer, and Jawhar (Jojo) - Tony’s children - attended our local schools. Please share widely with your contacts and thank you in advance for helping Tony in any way that you can.

Please find more information here.

Join us! Meet us!

Please join the PTA - we’d love to have you. We’ve upgraded our platform designed for PTAs, which will make it easier for you to use and us to operate. Instructions for how to sign up can be found here, but even if you don’t join the PTA (please, please join!), it’s still important to sign up for an account on our new site so that you can have access to the information you’ll need.
