Very important message about the upcoming PTA meeting

Our next PTA meeting is on Tuesday, May 17 at 7:30 pm via this Zoom link (or by calling in to 646-876-9923, Meeting ID: 848 8571 8747, Passcode: 817553) This is a very important meeting because we’ll be officially electing our Nominating Committee! The Nomm Comm as we like to call it is parents who are looking for volunteers to fill next year’s open positions! This year’s Nomm Comm is: Whitney Swain, Donny Levit, Amy Bhattacharyya and Wen Zhu.

Also, we want to know! Are you interested in PTA leadership? We need:

A new VP (who usually steps in to be the President the following year)
Committee members and chairs to help with next year’s fundraising, yearbook, membership, teacher appreciation, class coordinator leader and more. Interested in helping?! Please email TuscanPTAPres@gmail.com. The election for next year’s Executive Board will be in our June meeting.

What a year, what a year!

Don’t forget to place your order for the Tuscan Yearbook. Orders are due by May 15 and you can order yours here. The PTA is purchasing softcover books for all 5th graders. You only need to take action if you want to upgrade to a hardcover. All yearbooks will be shipped to school and given out in mid-June. One benefit to the vendor we use is that it is possible to order books late - you just have to pay for shipping to your home. You can even order old books from previous years!

Help make recess fun AND safe

Recess is fun! Recess is outside! And to ensure the safety of our kiddos, we are in need of parent/guardian volunteers to help make sure that recess is fun and safe. Interested? Sign up for next week here.
