About the Tuscan PTA
Our PTA is made up of hard-working parents & teachers who pool their talents to provide practical support for our school. Those listed below volunteered to provide leadership this year. Get to know their names and faces, and feel free to ask them if you have questions.

PTA EXECUTIVE BOARD position descriptions
President Elect (PE) – Assists the President with all duties and functions. Works with the Executive Board, Principal and Administration to further the Tuscan PTA's goals for the school year. PE is a member of Presidents Council, a once a month meeting with all of the District's PTA presidents, PEs and SEPAC representatives.
Recording Secretary – Responsible for taking and distributing the minutes of the monthly Executive Board Meetings; keeping records of PTA activities during the year.
Communications Secretary – Responsible for board communications and correspondence, calendar reporting, communication between the board and the staff, electronic communications.
Treasurer – Manages all monetary duties and functions.
Special Ed Liaison for Tuscan School to the Special Education Parent Advisory Committee (aka SEPAC) – representative for special education in Tuscan and liaison for Tuscan School with the Special Education PTO and Special Education Parent Advisory Committee (or can coordinate with another individual as liaison); acts as a contact and reference point for families at Tuscan, helps families make connections within the school to other resources. This person does not need to be an expert in special education but have an interest in supporting all types of students in the school community.
