Each class will visit the fair during school on one of the three days, and families can shop the fair on two Family Nights (when many Tiger families will be attending in-person parent-teacher conferences at Tuscan in the evening): March 5 and March 6 from 5:30-8 p.m.
SET UP YOUR CHILD’S EWALLET :
Though cash will be accepted, the easiest way for your Tiger to buy books during the fair is to create an eWallet.
Click this link, and scroll down to Create Account to do so.
These funds allow your Tiger to buy books all by themselves. There’s also an option to “Share the Fair” to ensure every Tuscan Tiger gets a book.

We are looking for volunteers to organize and plan our Casino Night at the Woodland in April and our Tuscan Fair, tentatively scheduled for May. If you're interested in joining a committee, please reach out!- Spring Casino Night at the Woodland - Email Allison Weiss!

- Spirit Wear for next year - We are looking for someone with some design skills who lives close to Tuscan and who can store inventory. Erica and Laura can start training for next year!

Every year, in celebration of 100 Days of School, the Tuscan community has a goal to donate 100 items of food per classroom to the OLS and St Joe’s food pantries.
Please donate according to your child’s grade level, as these are the most needed items at the food pantries. No glass jars for any items, please.
You can send in the donations to school with your child anytime from Feb 3rd to Feb 13th. Teachers will have a collection box in their classrooms.
K - Pasta
1st - Beans (canned or bag)
2nd - Soup (canned)
3rd - Peanut Butter (no glass jars)
4th - Tuna or Canned Meat
5th - Rice (bags or boxes)

Tuscan Show is our biggest, most fun event of the year! It’s a series of 2 and a half minute skits where our students are the stars and our parents and caregivers are the directors.
We need YOU to Direct! The show simply can NOT happen without our dedicated volunteer directors. You don’t need to be a Broadway star. If you ever made up a dance to a song with your friends or learned the choreo to your favorite music video, you’re qualified!

The Pajama Drive is on! December 16-19

We are spreading the joy by having students bring in new pajamas throughout the week leading up to Pajama Day, which is part of our Snowflake Spectacular Assembly on Thursday, December 19.
By collecting pajamas that week, from December 16-19, we can celebrate the spirit of giving all week and announce the total donations during the assembly!

SOMSD Parenting Center and Rent Party Annual Holiday Toy Drive

Now in it's 27 year, the South Orange Maplewood School District's Parenting Center & Rent Party's Annual Toy Drive provides gifts for children in our District. Last year, the Toy Drive benefitted over 400 children in our two communities!
There are a few ways to participate in this year's Toy Drive:
- Make an online, tax deductible contribution here
- Donate an item from the wishlist here
- Drop off a new toy at one of our drop-off bins at any district elementary school (11/25-12/13)
- Buy one, Donate one at Sparkhouse Toys
