Beyond the Bell Spring Session - Spots Still Available!
2/12/2024 2:16 pm
ICYMI: There are still some openings in Beyond the Bell classes at Tuscan for all grade levels!
Classes run March 14 - May 10, on Thursdays and Fridays immediately after school.
Find the list of classes (including which grades can participate in each) and registration information here.
Some ideas from the PTA: For the big kids (grades 3-5): For kids who like to play games with strategy, Game Hour is a good choice. Kids who like to solve riddles and escape-room type games should try Puzzles & Mysteries. Kids who like to be active will enjoy Game Time Fun, and kids who like to do science experiments should try That's Gross!
Creative kids should try Hand Lettering or Tuscan Space Cadets, and kids with a flair for drama will enjoy Making Magic. And for anyone who loves to read and wants to spend more time in the library, Library 101 is an excellent choice (they even get to check out 3 more books a week!).
For the younger kids (grades K-2): Kids who like to build things should try Lego Builders (there are only openings for the Friday class). Kids who like to create art should try Printmaking, Crafty Kiddos, Superhero Training (where they'll also play a lot), or Clay Play (only 2 spots left!).
If your kid likes hands-on science, they should try Nasa Academy. And If they like to perform, Making Magic is a fun choice. Game Time Fun is perfect for kids who like to be active (only 2 spots left). And for kindergarteners only, they can have fun in Playtime in Espanol.
100th Day of School Food Drive
2/6/2024 11:07 am
Every year, in celebration of the 100th days of school, the Tuscan community sets a goal to donate 100 items of food per class to the Our Lady of Sorrows and St Joe's food pantries.
Please donate according to your child's grade level. These are the most needed items at the food pantries. No glass jars for any items, please.
You can send in the donations to school with your child anytime between February 1 and February 15. All teachers will have a collection box in their classrooms.
Questions? Want to volunteer to help transport items to the food pantry on Feb 15th? Email Ms. Sinclair!
