Dear Tuscan School Community,

It is with incredible joy and excitement that we write to you today as your newly named leadership team.  Joining the Tuscan family is an absolute honor, and we cannot wait to embark on this wonderful journey with all of you. Our shared dedication to the South Orange Maplewood School District runs deep, and we are thrilled to bring our collective experience to serve your families and children.

Mrs. Davenport, Acting Principal: As a lifelong South Orange resident and a proud graduate of Columbia High School, my commitment to our school district is deeply personal. For the past 18 years, my educational home has been Seth Boyden, where I spent many wonderful years as a kindergarten teacher before transitioning into the role of Assistant Principal. Those 18 years taught me the invaluable power of a strong, inclusive, and supportive school community.

Mr. Rivera, Assistant Principal: I am equally thrilled to step into this new role at Tuscan. My educational journey within the district spans over 20 years at Delia Bolden, where I have had the privilege of growing alongside incredible students, dedicated staff, and supportive families. I am excited to bring that long-standing passion and experience to the Tuscan family.

Tuscan School has a rich tradition of academic excellence, creativity, and a warm, welcoming spirit. Together, we are fully committed to maintaining that high standard while working collaboratively with our fantastic staff, dedicated parents, and, most importantly, our amazing students.
