Here is our slate of candidates for the 2025-2026 PTA Executive Board! 

Please join us to vote at this month's PTA meeting, May 21, 2025 at 12:15 p.m., either in-person in the Tuscan Library or via Zoom.

DEI VP - OPEN

Currently seeking a VP for DEI:

• Be an active listener to diverse voices and share personal reflection

• Connect with community by acknowledging systems of oppression, power, and privilege

Monthly Duties: 

• Attend DEI meetings with the district and/or other elementary schools

• Report on DEI updates and address concerns and questions at Monthly PTA Meetings

Quarterly Duties:

• Ensure school events are inclusive for all

• Research heritage and appreciation months

Yearly Duties:

• Work with cultural programming chair for assemblies or arts residencies

• Attend SEED seminars to create conversation around personal, organizational and societal change toward greater equity and diversity

Optional/As Needed Duties:

• Join the President to attend and be a witness for the HIB Process 

• Optional: Create bulletin boards in the school for awareness 

• Optional: Lead cup-chats or host seminars for parents

We are still seeking committee members for Spirit Wear, Social Media, Cultural Arts Programming, Tuscan Show, Tuscan Fair, Fundraising and more opportunities throughout the year.

Welcome Back Tigers - we hope everyone had a great Spring Break! A few Tuscan Show reminders: 

Tuscan Fair: Volunteers Needed

Fair Date: Saturday, May 17

The rides are booked BUT we are looking for additional volunteers to help bring the most fun to the fair!

GRILL TEAM: Are you a perfectionist at the grill? Love making burgers and hot dogs for a crowd? We need a Grill Team to help purchase supplies and recruit fellow grill-loving Tuscan parents! We provide the grill and the funds for the supplies.

DECORATION TEAM: Do you LOVE a good theme party? We need you! Help us with decorations!

5th GRADE TEAM: One of the extra bonuses of being a 5th Grader is getting to run the table games at the Tuscan Fair. We need a volunteer to organize 5th Grade students and assist with running the table games. 

ARTISTS: Are you a face painter glitter tattoo artist? How about a caricature artist? Maybe a juggler? We're interested! 

EMCEE: Do you have a BIG personality and want to make announcements at the fair? You're just the person we need!
