Don't forget that registration begins tomorrow, Thursday, September 14 at 7 a.m. (start doing your keyboard exercises now, and get that alarm set and your coffee machine preloaded!).
First, due to a scheduling conflict, two of our BTB classes have switched days. Magic Marvels (3-5) in now on Thursdays and Let's Write (3-5) is now on Fridays.
You can find the updated BTB schedule for Tuscan here.
Second, scholarship applications for BTB are now online. You can find that form here.

9/10/2023 9:40 pm
Celebrate one week back in school at the Ice Cream Social on Thursday, September 14 from 5-7 p.m.
If you're able, come volunteer with us! Sign up here. It will be sticky, but fun.
The Tuscan Tiger will be prowling the event, and you can also catch up with our SEPAC liaison and buy some blue and gold Spirit Wear.
We're going to have delicious ice cream from Cliff's, which PTA Prez Amanda assures us has been repeatedly voted the best in New Jersey. There will be dairy-free and sugar-free options.
Flyers were sent home last week with (each of) your little Tuscan Tigers with a ticket for one free ice cream sundae attached; check those backpacks!
Additional scoops, for you or a particularly hungry Tiger, will run you $5 each.
And there will be a cashless payment option via the Tuscan PTA's MTK site.

A Farewell from Nora, our amazing 2023-23 PTA President
7/10/2023 11:05 am
Like my friend above, we might be a little worn, a little lopsided but still, what an amazing year!
It was a year of coming together. There was no ice cream left or vegetable ignored as we brought back old favorites, the Ice Cream Social and the Farmers Market.
The kids dressed up, ate candy, and amazed us with jump-rope talent at the Harvest Festival.
We got to sit again in those little desks for BTSN, watch our kids at Lunch/Recess, and roam the halls for a spectacular Art Show. The Book Fair return was an outrageous success, and our hearts and seats were full at the epic Tuscan Show. Tuscan Movie Night saw a sea of families having fun together on the new blacktop and who couldn’t smile at the Rainbow or admire that beautiful yearbook?
There was no Fall or Spring fundraiser this year, but we helped Covid- & construction-worn classrooms, added new speakers and recess equipment, new outdoor seating, and a sensory walk (on its way).
We helped our families, encouraged reading, invited authors and musicians and went on field trips. We said goodbye to two favorite beloved people and welcomed new eager Tuscan Tigers with their t-shirts from Spirit Wear. We celebrated our teachers, and we did our best!

For 15 years he has cleaned up the messes (and there have been some doozies), helped out at lunch, supported our events, taken awesome photos and has made our kids smile and laugh. On June 21, please send your student in wearing a fun hat or shirt AND wear one yourself at drop off. Let's give Mr. Leonel has a fun memory as he retires!! There are lots of paper hat tutorials online if you don't have something handy at home, or just decorate an ordinary hat!! We will warm his heart as he has warmed ours!

6/15/2023 6:30 am
School's almost out! But don't forget, school's closed this Friday, June 16th off for Juneteenth. Mark your calendars.
Why are your children out Friday, but the federal Juneteenth holiday is Monday? Great question! The answer: New Jersey made Juneteenth a holiday before the federal government did, and the state observes the holiday on the third Friday of June.
Here’s a great resource from the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C., that you can use to learn about and discuss Juneteenth with your TT!
